Cool

Awesome practice stage, other than the obvious (make bigger and longer, make enemies hurt you) three things you'll definately need for a zelda game are switches, pushable blocks and diagonal walking.

It's an alright Flash but the Actionscript is clearly copied off some sort of tutorial.

Ok but...

Very informative but you could've given us an equal amount of information on a BBS or blog post, and it didn't seem like you put more than an hours work into the flash itself.
If you're going to make a tutorial on this then at least provide us with some images or animation to give a bit more accuracy.
